Terms of Use
The rules for using the ultrania.com website. Services for clients are governed by a separate written agreement.

01About these terms
These Terms of Use apply to your use of the website at ultrania.com, including all its pages in English and Italian (the "Website"). The Website is operated by Ultrania ("Ultrania", "we", "us").
By using the Website you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Website.
02Information only, not advice
Content on the Website, including our Insights articles, service descriptions and example engagements, is general information. It is not legal, regulatory, tax, financial or investment advice, and it does not take your specific circumstances into account.
Regulatory requirements differ by jurisdiction and change over time. Before acting on anything you read here, obtain advice for your own situation. You can ask us for it under a written engagement.
Example engagements on the Website are composite illustrations of how we typically structure work. They do not describe individual clients and they are not a promise of any particular outcome.
03No offer or client relationship
Nothing on the Website is an offer to provide services on specific terms. A client relationship begins only when both parties sign a written agreement, such as a proposal, statement of work or service agreement. That agreement, together with our Service Level Agreement where it is referenced, governs the services.
Sending us a message through the Website does not create a client relationship. Please do not send confidential information until we have agreed how it will be handled, for example under an NDA.
04Acceptable use
When using the Website you agree not to:
- use it in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent or harmful;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, the server it runs on or any connected system;
- introduce malware or carry out any attack, including denial-of-service attacks;
- use automated tools to scrape or copy content in bulk, except normal search-engine indexing;
- send spam or misleading information through our forms.
Security researchers acting in good faith should follow our Responsible Disclosure policy.
05Intellectual property
The Ultrania name, logo, website design, text, graphics and code are owned by Ultrania or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may view, download and print pages for your own information. You may share links to the Website. You may not copy, adapt, republish or use our content or brand for commercial purposes without our written permission.
06Links to other websites
The Website may link to websites run by others, for example regulators or event organisers. We do not control those websites and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
07Availability and changes
We work to keep the Website available, accurate and secure, but we provide it "as is" and cannot guarantee that it will always be available, error-free or up to date. We may change, suspend or remove any part of the Website at any time.
08Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Ultrania is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Website or its content, including indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of data.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
09Privacy and cookies
How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in our Cookie Policy.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. The courts of the Republic of Cyprus have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your country of residence.
11Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the Website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
